چکیده
Tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) are essential components of the immune cell stroma hepatocellular carcinoma. TAMs originate from monocytic myeloid-derived suppressor cells, peripheral blood monocytes, and kupffer cells. The recruitment monocytes to HCC tumor microenvironment is facilitated by various factors, leading their differentiation into with unique phenotypes. can directly activate or inhibit nuclear factor-κB, interleukin-6/signal transducer signal activator transcription 3, Wnt/β-catenin, transforming growth factor-β1/bone morphogenetic protein, extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1/2 signaling pathways in cells interact other via producing cytokines vesicles, thus affecting carcinoma proliferation, invasive migratory, angiogenesis, liver fibrosis progression, processes participate different stages progression. In recent years, have received much attention as a prospective treatment target for HCC. This review describes origin characteristics mechanism action occurrence development offer theoretical foundation further clinical research TAMs.

Flowcytometric Analysis of Tumor Associated Macrophages in Invasive Ductal Carcinoma of Breast
Background: Invasive ductal carcinoma is the most common type of breast cancer in Iran. Impaired immune responses occur frequently in cancer patients, but the mechanisms of the induced immune defects remain poorly understood. It is believed that infiltrated immune cells, especially macrophages, may provide help for tumor cell growth and metastasis. Objective: To analyze the status of tumor as...
متن کاملDNA methylation of tumor suppressor genes in hepatocellular carcinoma
The basic unit of chromatin is a nucleosome included an octamer of the four core histones and 147 base pairs of DNA. Posttranslational histones modifications affect chromatin structure resulting in gene expression changes. CpG islands hypermethylation within the gene promoter regions and the deacetylation of histone proteins are the most common epigenetic modifications. The aberrant patterns of...

Background:Squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) is the most common malignancy of the oral cavity, which is highly invasive. Verrucous carcinoma (VC) is the low-grade form of SCC. Epithelial dysplasia (ED) also has a malignant potential. This immunohistochemical (IHC) study aimed to assess angiogenesis and the presence of tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs) in SCC, VC and ED to determi...
متن کاملCancer Progression Related with Tumor-associated Macrophages
Tumor-associated macrophages are one of the main populations of inflammatory cells in cancers that favor tumor cell growth and survival. Tumor-derived factors such as VEGF-A and CSF-1 recruit the macrophages in tumor micro environment and alter their phenotype in M1 to M2 or tumor-associated macrophages by secretion of several cytokines including IL-4, IL-13 and VEGF-A. In return tumor-associat...
